Coronavirus Update

4/20/2020

We understand that this is a difficult and unprecedented situation for everyone, and are doing our best to move forward to the best of our ability at this time.
As of right now, we are following the New Jersey governor's recommendations regarding social distancing, particularly those regarding schools.  For now, since all NJ schools are closed through May 15, any retreats or trips scheduled before May 15 have already been cancelled and rescheduled.  Any retreats scheduled after May 15 are currently considered 'still on'.
Also we realize that returning to ‘normal’ after something like this will take some time, but we wanted  to remind you that we have policies & procedures in place for when guests are back on our property.  We value the health and wellness of our staff and guests, and would like you to know we are doing our best to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Each week, our staff consistently and thoroughly cleans all facilities during and after each retreat, using proper disinfecting & sanitizing agents.  Running water, soap dispensers, and hand sanitizer are available in all facilities, and staff and guests are encouraged to use these resources regularly during their stay.  Our kitchen staff members are all certified in ServSafe practices that ensure food safety procedures. These processes are for the protection of both our staff and our guests.
We believe in the sovereignty of God and have seen him at work amidst all that is going on in our world.  We also believe in the power of camp, and ultimately would love to see all our groups be able to attend their retreats in the near future.
If you are able to keep your previously scheduled retreat, obviously that is the best case scenario!    If your church decides that, due to the current circumstances, you will be unable to attend your scheduled retreat, we will hold and transfer your deposit for another time within the next year, thus locking in this year’s prices for your group in the event that prices increase next year.  You can contact our office for date availability and we will work to reschedule for a time that works best for our calendar and yours.
Stay safe and be well - hope to see you soon!
