As you know, the coronavirus has begun to impact our area. For now, we intend to operate as normal, holding all previously scheduled retreats and trips as planned.
We value the health and wellness of our staff and guests, and would like you to know we are doing our best to prevent any potential spread of infection. Each week, we consistently and thoroughly clean all facilities during and after each retreat, with heightened attention during flu season in general, and particularly during the recent outbreak, using proper disinfecting & sanitizing agents. Running water, soap dispensers, and hand sanitizer are available in all facilities, and staff and guests will be encouraged to use these resources regularly during their stay. Our kitchen staff members are all certified in ServSafe practices that ensure food safety procedures on a daily basis, and with extra precautions during flu season. These processes are for the protection of both our staff and our guests.
Coronavirus is a virus that presents with similar symptoms to the common cold. We therefore ask that if you or a member of your group has a fever, flu-like symptoms, and/or cough, we respectfully ask that those individuals NOT attend your retreat this season. Additionally, we ask that individuals who have traveled to any locations that are at high risk for contracting the disease, or have had contact with anyone who is believed to have been exposed to the disease in the past 2 weeks remain home as well.
We must all do our part to ensure the health and safety of our staff, guests, supporters, customers, & friends. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact our office and one of our staff members would be happy to assist you.
