Fall 2020: Camp Update & Tour Days

Dear Friend of Shiloh, We want to invite you to come to Camp Shiloh for our upcoming Camp Tour on Saturday, November 7th or Sunday, November 8th. We encourage you to sign up for a one-hour tour (11 different options available from 10:00AM - 4:00PM) to see, hear and experience all God has done and is doing at the camp. This fundraising event is in place of our biennial banquet and will give you the opportunity to see the exciting progress of our campus including our nearly completed indoor pool. Each one-hour time slot will host up to 25 people going through an interactive and guided tour including refreshments and featuring Camp Shiloh’s staff. Due to the season we're in, this year all guests must RSVP in order to attend our event, as we need to monitor the number of guests per time slot. While we often minister to and care deeply for children and teenagers, this event is geared toward adults. Like most others, Camp Shiloh has been hit hard by the impact of COVID-19. Because of parents' understandable concern to send their kids to camp and many churches focused on finding creative ways to meet together, we have seen our number of campers and groups drop significantly. But we have remained open and continued to serve God and others in a myriad of ways during this challenging time. We partnered with the Highland Family Success Center to cook and deliver meals for those in our community who were in need. We opened up our lodging facility for 1st responders and essential workers who needed a place to stay. And we were able to host multiple groups including several hundred inner-city students for multiple days of camp through Inspire Sports Camp. We have also continued to improve our facility with our primary focus on completing our Indoor Pool. We are patiently waiting and prayerfully anticipating more opportunities for God to use Camp Shiloh to change and impact lives. While we have lost close to $250,000 of potential revenue over the last 6 months, we have seen God remain faithful in meeting and supplying all of our needs. We would love the opportunity to share and show you all that God has done and is continuing to do in us and through us. He is growing our faith and causing us to trust and follow Him in greater ways every day. We hope to see you November 7th or 8th.
